Oil pan / ATF screen / valve body and internal wiring harnesses, removing and installing, 09G, 6 Speed A/T

CAUTION! Do not run engine or tow vehicle with oil pan removed or when there is no ATF in the transmission.

Note:
^ Always replace valve body if it has collected dirt or if it is faulty.
^ Rules for cleanliness when working on the automatic transmission.
^ General repair instructions.
^ Lightly lubricate O-rings and sealing rings with ATF. Other types of lubricant can cause problems with the hydraulic actuation of the transmission.
^ The valve body and wiring harnesses with 8-pin and 14-pin connectors can also be removed with the transmission installed.

1 - ATF inspection plug, M10, 27 Nm
^ Always replace seal Item - 2 -

2 - Sealing ring
^ Always replace

3 - Overflow pipe, 1 Nm
^ Threaded into oil pan with Allen key, size 5

4 - Oil pan

5 - M6 bolt, 7 Nm
^ Qty. 8
^ For securing oil pan with oil pan seal at transmission housing

6 - Seal

7 - Magnet
^ Qty. 2 in flanges of oil pan
^ Clean before installing

8 - M6 bolt, 11 Nm
^ Qty. 3
^ To secure ATF screen at valve body

9 - ATF screen

10 - Bolts M6
^ Qty. 12 of different lengths
^ For securing valve body at transmission
^ Always replace bolts.

12 - M6 bolt, 5.5 Nm

13 - Sensor for transmission RPM - G182 -
^ With wiring and 2-pin connector

14 - M5 bolt, 6.5 Nm

15 - Sender for transmission output RPM - G195 -
^ With wiring and 2-pin connector

16 - Transmission housing

17 - ATF breather

18 - ATF cooler

19 - Multi-function Transmission Range (TR) switch - F125 -
^ Tested by On Board Diagnostic (OBD)

20 - Sealing ring
^ Always replace

21 - ATF drain plug, M 18, 39 Nm

22 - Lever
^ For selector lever shaft, inside at valve body

23 - Washer

24 - Nut, 10 Nm

25 - Large spring

26 - Small spring

27 - Shock absorber piston

28 - Wiring harness with 8-pin connector and integrated Transmission fluid temperature sensor - G93 -
^ With O-ring at connector
^ Always replace O-ring
^ For sensor - G182 -
^ For sender - G195 -
^ For two pressure senders - G193 - and - G194 -

29 - M6 bolt, 5.5 Nm

30 - Wiring harness
^ With O-ring at connector
^ Always replace O-ring
^ For solenoid valves and transmission sensors
