Explanatory notes on weight codes (PR Nos.)
To facilitate matching of suspension components, the spring/shock absorber combinations are classified according to weight codes (PR numbers).
The spring/shock absorber combination installed in the vehicle is indicated by the corresponding PR number on the vehicle data sticker.
Vehicle data sticker (example)
- - A - is the PR No. for the front axle
- - B - is the PR No. for the rear axle
The vehicle data sticker can be found in the spare wheel recess and in the service book.
The PR numbers can be used to identify the correct spring/shock absorber combination.
