Removing
- Unclip brake cable - arrows -.
- Unfasten clamps - 2 - from brake hose retainer.
- Remove hex bolt - 1 - securing bonded rubber bushing.
Note: Place a soft wooden block (approx. 10 cm x 10 cm) between axle beam and body in order to insert special tool.
- Insert special tool and knock guide bushing out of axle beam.
Installing
Front of bonded rubber bushing has a marking - 1 -.
This must align with the edge - arrow - of the trailing arm - 2 -.
- Identify position of mark - 1 - on bonded rubber bushing.
- Attach special tool to bonded rubber bushing.
- Bring bonded rubber bushing with special tool into position at rear axle.
- Make sure that the mark aligns with edge of trailing arm.
- Pull in bonded rubber bushing by turning spindle.
- Check position of bonded rubber bushing after installing.
Greasing bonded rubber bushing
- Before installing rear axle, grease kidney-shaped cavities of bonded rubber bushings with assembly paste G052150A2.
Further installation of rear axle is performed in reverse order.
