Steering wheel with airbag, removing and installing

Removing
- Turn steering wheel to center position (wheels in straight-ahead position).
- Remove airbag module Airbag module, removing and installing





- Remove securing bolt and steering wheel.

1 - Socket-head bolt (12 mm)

CAUTION! Do not twist coil connector out of center position.





Steering wheel and steering column are marked.

A - Line marking on steering wheel

B - Punch mark on steering column

Do not change this position.

Otherwise, the steering rack may not be located in the center.

Steering columns supplied as spare parts do not have a punch mark.

When installing, note the following:
- Install steering wheel and secure with new bolt.

Tightening torques:
Socket-head bolt (12 mm), Item - 1 -: 50 Nm
