Special tools, testers and auxiliary items needed







- Socket 3400







- VAG 1332 Torque wrench (or equivalent 40 - 200 Nm )







- Counter-hold securing nut using 3400.
- To remove, turn generator shaft clockwise.
- To install, turn generator shaft counter-clockwise.
- Clip protective cap onto free-wheel pulley.

Tightening torques

Generator pulley to generator - nut 80 Nm
