Seat Belt Restraint Function For Holding Additional Child Seats, Checking (not For Drivers Seat Belt)

- The complete belt assembly (including B-pillar trim) must be installed when checking this function.
- Activation of restraint function:
- Pull out belt as far as it will go.
- Correct function:
- The belt should retract with a buzzing sound.
- If the belt retraction is then stopped, it should not be possible to pull the belt out again until the function is deactivated.
- Deactivation:
- Allow the belt to retract as far as the last 100 mm (approx.).
- This should deactivate the restraint function at the latest when the belt reaches the last 100 mm. The belt will then function again in the normal way.
