Three-point Seat Belt With Belt Tensioner, Removing And Installing







1 - Belt tensioner
- Removing three-point seat belt
- Disconnect battery.
- Remove rear seat bench
- Remove appropriate rear seat backrest
- Unbolt anchorage point on outer floor panel
- Remove appropriate side trim
- Remove B-pillar brace
- Unbolt anchorage point for guide fitting
- Disconnect connector - 4 - at belt tensioner.
- Remove screw - 3 - (1x).
- Remove belt tensioner - 1 - with locating piece - 2 - from mounting - 5 -.

- Installing
- After installing passengers side three-point seat belt, check belt function for child seat.

2 - Locating piece
3 - Screw (1x)
- Tightening torque 55 Nm
4 - Belt tensioner connector
5 - Mounting

NOTE:
- After connecting the battery, check vehicle equipment (radio, clock, electric windows)
- If the Airbag Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) K75 signals a malfunction after performing repair procedures then the DTC memory must be erased and checked again with vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS 5051 A Scan Tool (ST).
