Brake Pedal, Assembly Overview

CAUTION
The brake pedal travel must not be restricted by additional floor coverings.





1 - Mounting bracket

^ When installing a new mounting bracket with collapsing support on a vehicle with year of make prior to approx 06.99, the support must be cut off at the point indicated with an - arrow - there is no means of attaching.

2 - Collapsing support

3 - Nut - 28 Nm

^ Self-locking
^ Replace each time after removing

4 - Brake light switch

5 - Accelerator pedal

6 - Bolt

7 - Brake pedal

^ Grease all bearings with polycarbamide grease, G 052 142 A2 before installing

8 - Pad

9 - Nut - 20 Nm

^ Self-locking
^ Replace each time after removing

10 - Mounting bushing

^ Grease all bearings with polycarbamide grease, G 052 142 A2 before installing

11 - Pivot pin

^ Grease all bearings with polycarbamide grease, G 052 142 A2, before installing
