ABS/EDL and ABS/EDL/ASR ITT Mark 20 IE

- Connect VAG1551 and select address word 03 "Brake Electronics". Scan Tool VAG1551/1552 or VAS5051 Connecting/Selecting Function

- Press buttons 0 and 2 for function "Check DTC memory."

Notes: If a malfunction occurs in the system while "Check DTC memory" or "Read measuring value block" are being performed, it will be recognized by the control module and indicated by the ABS warning light - K47. This is an aid for tracing sporadic malfunctions.

- Press Q button to confirm input.





The number of stored malfunctions or "No DTCs found" is indicated in the display.





Indicated on display
- Press --> button.
- Stored DTCs are displayed in sequence and printed out.

- Check DTC table with printed list. ABS/EDL and ABS/EDL/ASR ITT Mark 20 IE
- The program returns to start position after --> button is pressed, as with "No DTCs found."





Indicated on display (function selection)
- End output (function). End Output (Function 06)
- Switch off ignition and disconnect diagnostic connector.

Notes: If no malfunctions are recognized:
^ 1. Eliminate malfunction (repair)
^ 2. Check DTC memory (function 02)
^ 3. Erase DTC memory (function 05)
^ 4. End output (function 06)
^ 5. Test drive
^ 6. Check DTC memory again.
