Electrical Testing, Test Requirements

^ DTC memory "Function 02" checked via VAG1551. Check DTC Memory (Function 02)
^ Fuses must be OK - go to Electrical Wiring Diagrams, Troubleshooting & Component Locations binder
^ Before the start of testing, switch off ignition and electrical consumers (headlights, illumination, fan).





- Remove multi-pin connector from control module -J104- and connect adapter -1- (VAG1598/21) to connector of wiring harness -2-.
Specified values apply to VAG1526 and do not necessarily apply to other test units.
