Spoiler, Installing (rear Lid Without Pre-drilled Locating Pin Holes)

NOTE: Spoiler application requires use of special tool drill and assembly fixture, 66B2/00. Fixture is available for loan through your special tool supplier.







- Drill and assembly fixture 66 B2 / 00







- Slide extension rests - 2 - over hatch rubber stop on left and right side.
- Cover vehicle inside and out with paper - 2 - or optional cover V.A.S 5192 to prevent metal particles form getting into or scratching vehicle.







- Apply adhesive tape - 1 - about 1 cm. wide - a - and 20 cm. long along both sides of lid edge to protect against paint damage.

NOTE: For Roaster lids, Coupe locating block (black) must be switched with locating block for Roadster (white).







- Remove inner screw - arrow - and pull off Coupe locating block - 1 -.
- Place Roadster locating block - 2 - into drill and assembly fixture, and secure with inner screw.







- Pull lid down and place drill and assembly fixture - 1 - on hatch and push forward to stops.
- Turn knob - 2 - to pull fixture snug.
- Close clamps - 3 -.
- Continue turning knob - 2 - until it does not turn anymore.
