Lock Carrier With Attachments, Removing And Installing







1 - Combi bolt
- 23 Nm
2 - Bumper
- Does not need to be detached from bumper mounts when removing lock carrier
3 - Hexagon bolt
- 35 Nm
4 - Torxbolt(T30)
- 6 Nm
5 - Fender
6 - Combi bolt (multipoint)
- 23 Nm







7 - Lock carrier
- Take off bumper cover before removing

NOTES:
- Lock carrier can be removed with headlights and radiator fitted.
- Remove condenser from lock carrier on vehicles with AC.
- If radiator is also to be removed, drain coolant before hand.

- Detach electrical connections for headlights.
- Remove hood lock.
- To remove, unscrew bolts - 3 -, - 4 - and - 6 -.

- Bolts - 8 - are used to locate bumper on lock carrier and are not to be unscrewed
- Remove lock carrier toward the front







8 - Bolt
- 4 Nm
9 - Hexagon nut
- 23 Nm
