Releasing gas from strut

- Clamp gas-filled strut in vice in area x = 50 mm.
- Make a saw-cut in the cylinder part of the strut at a point within the first third of the cylinder's length (measured from the piston rod end of the cylinder).

WARNING: The gas-filled strut must only be clamped in the vice at the area indicated, otherwise there is a risk of accident.

NOTE: Wear protective goggles when sawing open the cylinder, and cover the area around the saw-cut with a cleaning rag to catch any escaping fluid.
