Rear Lid Hinge, Removing And Installing

Rear lid hinge cover







- First lever out cover - 1 - at the bottom, then detach from tailgate - 2 -.
- When installing cover, start by engaging notches at the top - arrow - on roof flange.







Removing and installing tailgate hinge
- Remove roof-rail trim.
- Unscrew hexagon bolts - 4 - and remove tailgate - 1 -.
- Unscrew hexagon bolt - 3 - and hexagon nut - 5 -, then remove tailgate hinge - 2 -.
- When installing, tighten hexagon nut - 5 - and bolts (-3 and - 4 - ) to 21 Nm.
