Cabin Ventilation Duct: Testing and Inspection



Air Extraction Vents, Checking







Sealing lips -B- on vent frame -A- must be able to move freely and close by themselves.

NOTE:
- Illustration shows location of extraction vents behind rear bumper. Remove rear bumper to access vents.
- Vehicle is fitted with two air extraction vents (left and right) for forced air extraction.

To ensure proper air extraction from passenger compartment, check the following:







- Ventilation slits -A- in luggage compartment trim must not be obstructed.
- Air ducts in the luggage compartment trim must not be covered.
- Air flow through vent frame -B- must not be obstructed by objects in the luggage compartment.
