Code Control Module (Function 07)
This function is used to code the radio as follows:
- Radio configuration
- Sound system
- Number of passive loudspeakers
- Country identification
NOTE:
- The coding procedure is used to set the various radio configuration options.
- The coding table only gives the combinations that are available for the Audi TT.
- The term "remotely powered antenna" refers to the active roof antenna of the Audi TT (e.g. rear window antenna), whose voltage supply for the antenna amplifier is supplied via the center wire of the antenna cable.
- The coding must always correspond to the equipment installed in the vehicle.

- Enter code number according to coding table.
- Enter code number according to coding table up to m.y. 2001; from m.y. 2002.
Coding: up to m.y. 2001: e.g. 00517
- Country identification: 0 = standard
- Sound matching: 0 = standard
- Number of passive loudspeakers: 5 = BOSE sound system for Audi TT (fader OFF for sound matching)
- Sound system: 1 = BOSE sound system
- Radio configuration: 7 = radio with CD changer and secondary display
- Confirm input with the -Q- button.
Coding as of m.y. 2002:04632
- Radio configuration 5: 0 = Standard
- Radio configuration 4: 4 = TT
- Radio configuration 3: 6 = with Bose and active amplifier switch-off for telephone call
- Radio configuration 2: 3 = with navigation and Telephone
- Radio configuration 1: 2 = with CD changer
- Control module identification with the entered coding appears on display (04632).
- Press -> button to end coding
