Control Module For Navigation With CD-Mechanism -J401- (Coupe), Removing And Installing

The control module for navigation is located at rear left in the luggage compartment.

Removing
- Remove left luggage compartment trim to side.







- Remove both mounting bolts -1- (2.5 Nm) and remove the control module for navigation together with installation frame -4-. The installation frame is guided by tracks -3- on the left and right.
- Disconnect electrical harness connectors and antenna wire (GPS) at rear of control module for navigation with CD drive.
- Remove installation frame -4-.
- Unscrew the four mounting screws -2- at left and right at Control module for navigation with CD-mechanism -J401-, and remove it from the installation frame -4-.

CAUTION: Use only original bolts when securing control module. Otherwise, the control module may be destroyed.

Installing
- Install in reverse order of removal.

Notes for installation:
- The control module for navigation and the installation frame must be installed together in a horizontal position and free from vibration to avoid system trouble.
- The ventilation slots of the control module may not be covered once installed.
