Mechanical Sun Shade, Removing And Installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required







- Torque wrench V.A.G 1783

Removing
- Remove door trim.
- Remove bolts - 2 - (5x).







- Remove sun shade - 1 - from door - 3 -.

Installing
- Attach sun shade - 1 - to door - 3 -.
- Tighten bolts - 2 - (5x) to specified torque.
- Make sure all clips are in position on back of door trim.
- Replace damaged clips
- Engage Bowden cable for interior door handle
- Connect connector at window regulator control module







- Connect connector at bass loudspeaker
- Move door trim - 2 - to sun shade - 1 - and position door trim.
- Clip door trim - 2 - to sun shade - 1 - (4 clips).

3 - Clips
- Install door trim.

Tightening torque:







Sun shade to door: 3 Nm
