Removal and Replacement

Rear Final Drive Gear Oil, Checking

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Drip Tray (V.A.G 1306)

• Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1331)

Place the (V.A.G 1306) underneath.

- Remove the sealing plug for checking transmission fluid - arrow -.





The fluid level is correct when the rear final drive is filled up the lower edge of the fluid fill hole.

- Install the screw plug - arrow - and tighten. Tightening specification - 10 - => [ Hex Bolt ] Differential Overview.
