Front Receiver Antenna

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque wrench (5-60 Nm) (VAG 1783)

Removing

The receiver antennas are located behind the wheel housing liners.

- Place the vehicle on the hoist. Refer to => [ Positioning Vehicle on the Hoist and on its Wheels ] Positioning Vehicle on the Hoist and on its Wheels.

- Switch the ignition off.

- Remove the wheel housing liner.

- Disconnect the electrical connector - 1 -.





- Release the clip - 2 -.

- Remove the antenna - 3 -.

Remove the front receiver antenna with the bracket.

- Remove the nuts - 1 -.





- Remove the antenna bracket - 2 -.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

Install the front receiver antenna with the bracket - 2 -.





- Tighten the nuts - 1 - to 2 Nm.

- Install the wheel housing liner.

- Place the vehicle on its wheels. Refer to => [ Positioning Vehicle on the Hoist and on its Wheels ] Positioning Vehicle on the Hoist and on its Wheels.
