Front Interior Light With Roof Electronics Control Module J528, Removing And Installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required







- Pry lever 80-200

Removing
- If control module is replaced, select "Replacement" function for appropriate control module in "Guided Fault-Finding" routine .
- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.







- Use Pry lever 80-200 to carefully pry front edge of cover panels - 1 - out of interior light as shown.







- Lift off switch trim with Pry lever 80-200, as shown in illustration.







- Remove bolts - arrows - .
- Swivel down front interior light and remove from roof trim.
- Unplug multi-pin connector.







- Press retainer tab - 1 - at multi-pin connector.
- Unclip securing bracket of connectors - arrow - and disconnect connectors.
- Unplug remaining connectors.

Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
- Engage and attach interior light.
