Air Injection Pump: Service and Repair

Secondary Air Injection Pumps

Removing

- Activate vehicle lifting mode.

- Remove left front wheel.

• Secure brake disc with wheel bolts.

- Loosen quick-release fasteners - 1 - and remove front noise insulation.





- Remove front part of wheel housing liner at left front.

- Pull left air intake grille out of the bumper - arrows -.





- Disconnect electrical connectors - 1 - and - 5 -.





- Disconnect hoses - 2 -, - 3 -, - 6 - and - 7 - at the secondary air injection (AIR) pumps - 4 - and - 8 - by pressing release buttons.

- Remove secondary air injection (AIR) pumps from bracket.

Installing

- Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

• Replace O-rings.

• Secure all hose connections using hose clamps appropriate for the model type.

- Deactivate vehicle lifting mode.
