Left Front Muffler

Removing

- Activate vehicle lifting mode.

- Loosen quick-release fasteners - 2 - and remove rear noise insulation.





- Loosen left clamping sleeve - 1 -.





- Remove bolt - left arrow - at left front exhaust pipe retaining strap.





• Decoupling elements at front mufflers must not be bent more than 10° - danger of damage.

- Remove nuts - arrows -.





- Remove left front muffler with decoupling elements.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

• Replace gaskets and self-locking nuts.

- Align exhaust system free of tension => [ Exhaust System, Installing ] Exhaust System, Installing.

- Deactivate vehicle lifting mode.

Tightening Specifications
