1 Intake manifold lower part

• Removing and installing => [ Intake Manifold Lower-Section ] Intake Manifold Lower-Section

2 9 Nm

3 Gasket

• Replace

4 Fuel rail

5 9 Nm

6 Seal

• Replace

• Must be coated with engine oil "0 W 30" when installing

7 22 Nm

8 Intake manifold side-part

• Left intake manifold side-section, removing and installing => [ Left Intake Manifold Side-Section ] Left Intake Manifold Side-Section

• Right intake manifold side-section, removing and installing => [ Right Intake Manifold Side-Section ] Right Intake Manifold Side-Section

• Minimal oil residue in the intake manifold side part is acceptable

9 Gasket

• Replace if damaged

10 7 Nm plus an additional 180° (1/2 turn)

• Replace

• To install, coat with engine oil

• Starting from the middle, tighten in stages and in diagonal sequence

11 Intake manifold upper part

• Removing and installing => [ Intake Manifold Upper Section ] Cylinder Head, Valvetrain

12 Vacuum hose

• To EVAP canister purge regulator valve (N333)

13 Vacuum hose

• To suction jet pump for brake booster

14 Gasket

• Replace

15 9 Nm

16 Throttle valve control module

• Cylinder bank 1 (right): Throttle valve control module (J338)

• Cylinder bank 2 (left): Throttle Valve Control Module 2 (J544)

17 Vacuum hose

• To Leak detection pump (LDP) (V144)

18 Crankcase housing ventilation pressure regulator valve

• With oil separator

19 9 Nm

20 O-ring

• Replace

• To install, moisten with fuel

• Do not use lubricants containing silicone

21 Gasket

• Replace if damaged

• Press nubs of the gasket into the cylinder head
