1 9 Nm

Fasten in diagonal sequence in steps

2 Lower oil pan section

With oil level thermal sensor (G266) => [ ]

3 20 Nm

4 Seal

Replace

5 Oil line

6 20 Nm

7 Oil pump

Do not disassemble

With relief valve

Removing and installing => [ Oil Pump ] Service and Repair

8 Chain tensioner

Secure using drift (T40011) before removing

Do not disassemble

Removing and installing => [ Oil Pump ] Service and Repair

9 Oil pan (upper section)

Removing and installing => [ Oil Pan, Upper Section ] Oil Pan, Upper Section

10 Drive chain for oil pump

11 Chain sprocket for oil pump

Component of crankshaft

12 Bolt

Observe varying lengths

Tightening sequence and torque specification => [ Position the upper section of the oil
pan and tighten all of the bolts in the sequence to
5 Nm. ] Oil Pan, Upper Section

13 45 Nm

14 Sealing plugs

15 M6 = 9 Nm; M8 = 20 Nm

16 Pulsation damper

17 Suction line

Clean strainer if contaminated

18 9 Nm

19 9 Nm

20 Oil drain plug - 30 Nm

21 Seal

Replace

Oil Level Thermal Sensor (G266)





1. Insert bolt (10 Nm) using locking compound; locking compound.

2. Sealing ring; replace

3. Electrical harness connector
