1 - Peripheral fastening strips

2 - Side airbag

3 - Zip fastener

4 - Protective cover for side airbag

• Removing

- Remove rear seat bench => [ Rear Bench Seat ] Rear Seats.

- Remove rear seat backrest => [ Rear Backrest ] Rear Seats.

- Remove headrest => [ Headrests ] Rear Seats.

- Remove headrest guides => [ Headrest Guides with Backrest Removed ]. Headrest Guides With Backrest Removed

- Use a screwdriver to pry out retaining strips - 1 - all around.

- Pull the cover - 7 - down over the bracket - 6 -.

- Turn back cover - 7 - in area of side airbag - 2 -.

- Unzip - 3 - protective cover of side airbag - 4 -.

- Remove protective cover for side airbag - 4 - through opening in cushion - 5 -.

- Remove cover and cushion from backrest frame.

• Installing

- Install cover and upholstery in reverse order of removal.

- Close the zip fastener on the side airbag protective cover using the pliers for rear side airbag, Audi (VAS 6273).
