Oil Strainer

Removing

• General repair notes. Refer to => [ Repair Information ] .

• Observe cleanliness rules when working on automatic transmissions. Refer to => [ Cleanliness Working Conditions ] .

- Remove oil pan. Refer to => [ Oil Pan ] Service and Repair.

- Remove bolts - arrows -.





- Carefully remove oil strainer from valve body.

Installing

Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:

- Lightly coat seal on oil strainer suction collar with ATF.

- Carefully press ATF strainer suction collar into the opening at valve body as far as stop.

- Install oil pan => [ Installing ] Service and Repair.

- Fill with ATF. Refer to => [ ATF, Changing and Filling after a Repair ] ATF, Changing and Filling After a Repair.
