Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) Canister, Removing And Installing

NOTE: Checking for leaks.

Removing







- Remove EVAP canister cover at bottom of spare wheel well - arrows -.
- Remove sealing pieces above ventilation lines.







- Disconnect hose connection -1- at ventilation line.

NOTE: For vehicles with EVAP filter

- Separate ventilation lines -2- and -3-. Do this by pressing the releasing ring -4- in direction - arrow A - and simultaneously pulling ventilation line off - arrow B -.
- Remove stud bolts - arrows - and remove EVAP canister.

Installing
Installation is in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

NOTE: Secure all hose connections using hose clamps appropriate for the model type Parts catalog.
