Performing final control diagnosis
- Connect scan tool and select function "engine electronics".
- Press key.

Indicated on display (function selection):
Vehicle system - test HELP Select function XX

- Press keys 0 and 3 for Final control diagnosis and confirm the entry with the Q key.
- Press the key until the following text appears:

Indicated on display (function selection):
Final control diagnosis Actuation of vacuum pump for brake system

- Confirm entry with the Q key.

The electric vacuum pump should now run for approximately 10 sec.

- Remove diagnosis lead from diagnostic connection.
