Electrical Height Adjuster On Seats With Bolted Upper Part Of Seat (older Version), Replacing

NOTE:
- Older shoulder pin must be used.
- Older seat frame must be used.
- Older sail must be used on new height adjuster gearing.
- New microencapsulated bolts to secure the sail to the height adjuster gearing and to the seat rail are included in delivery.
- New nut to secure shoulder pin and plastic toothed segment are included in delivery.

- Move seat as far to front as possible.
- Remove side trim on sill side.







1 - Seat
2 - Bolts for seat rail (microencapsulated)
- Remove two rear microencapsulated bolts - 2 - to seat rail on left and right.







- Loosen shoulder pin - 1 -, nut - 2 - and lever - 3 - on height adjuster gearing and remove shoulder pin - 1 -.
- Fold seat fully toward front.
- Remove height adjuster gearing.







- Remove both microencapsulated bolts - 1 - at sail to height adjuster gearing.
- Clean threaded holes on height adjuster gearing.
- Secure new height adjuster gearing to sail using both new microencapsulated bolts - 1 -

NOTE: Threaded holes for screws must always be cleaned (for example, with thread cutter).

- If damaged, replace white plastic toothed segment.
- Carefully insert height adjuster gearing and make sure white plastic toothed segment is not damaged.
- Guide shoulder pin through height adjuster gearing, sail and drive lever and tighten new nut.
- Clean threaded holes in seat rail.
- Fold seat fully toward rear.
- Secure seat to seat rail using microencapsulated bolts supplied.

NOTE: Threaded holes for screws must always be cleaned (for example, with thread cutter).
