Ride Height Sensor: Service and Repair

Self leveling sensor in vehicle, replacing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required
^ Torque wrench V.A.G 1331

- Remove wheel.





- Remove bolt - 1 -.
- Remove bolts - 2 - with right-angled Allen key. Take care not to bend upper retaining plate.

Note:
^ For ease of illustration, transverse link is not shown.

- Prepare replacement part accordingly and install.

Note:
^ Hold vehicle level sensor while tightening bolts - 2 -.

Tightening torques:
- Item 1: 10 Nm
- Item 2: 5 Nm

- Perform basic setting of headlights following replacement.
- Install wheel and fasten.
