Leak Detection Pump: Service and Repair



Leak Detection Pump (LDP) V144, Removing And Installing

Removing

NOTE: All cable ties which are opened or cut open when removing, must be replaced in the same position when installing.

- Remove left rear wheel.
- Remove left rear wheel housing liner.







- Remove nuts - arrows -.
- Detach leak detection pump with bracket.
- Disconnect electrical connector -3- with ignition switched off.
- Disconnect hose coupling -4- by pressing release button.
- Cut cable ties -1- and disconnect the hose -2-.

Installing
Installation is in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

NOTE:
- Secure all hose connections using hose clamps appropriate for the model type Parts catalog.
- During installation, the cable ties must be re-installed at the same location.

- Secure hose -2- to bracket of leak detection pump with cable tie -1-.
