CD Changer, Removing And Installing

Special Tools and Equipment







- T10057 radio removal tool

Removing
- Open glove compartment.







- Insert two hooks of T10057 radio removal tool into the front of the CD changer.
- Pull the CD changer out of its installation slot.
- Detach connector.
- Pull out the release tool from the CD changer - to do this, press in the locking tabs on the CD changer.

Installing
- Plug in the connector.
- Slide the CD changer into the installation slot until it engages.
- After installation, it is essential that the wiring is checked.

Check wire connection between radio and CD changer
- Switch off radio.

"Concert II" radio:
- Press the CD button on the radio and switch on the radio at the same time.

"Symphony II" radio:
- Press the "4" button on the radio and switch on the radio at the same time, keeping the ON button pressed in.

All models:
1. Wire connection OK
Indication on radio display:
"CONNECT"

2. Wire connection not OK
Indication on radio display:
"NO CDC"

- Check electrical harness connector at CD changer.
- Repeat wiring check and if not OK, check wiring connector according to wiring diagram.
