Haldex Clutch Pump -V181-, Removing and Installing

Removing






- Switch Off Ignition.

- Unbolt rear driveshaft with flexible disk and vibration dampener from rear final drive (arrow) and carefully press forward.






- Connector for Haldex clutch pump (arrow 1).

- Place appropriate receptacle underneath final drive.

- Remove bolts (arrow 2).

- Afterward, rotate pump slightly toward right.






- Remove pump (direction of arrow).

Installing






Installation is reverse of removal, noting the following:

- Replace seal - A -.

- Replace O-rings - B - and - C -.

- Note different diameters:
O-ring - B - = 31.5 mm
O-ring - C - = 33 mm

- Press pump in fully to stop.

- Tighten bolts to 6 Nm.

- Check oil level in the Haldex coupling, replace oil in the Haldex coupling if necessary.

- Bolt driveshaft to rear final drive.
