1. Hex nut, 25 Nm
2. Transmission selector lever
^ Install so that the gapped splining matches with the shift selector shaft
^ Can be replaced with the shift mechanism installed
^ Installation position, Refer to Shift Lever, MT, Service and Repair
3. Glide shoe
^ Clip into linkage lever-6
4. Securing washer
^ Removing
5. Bushing

7. Shift cover

- Press in ball sleeve onto VW 402 thrust plate to stop.

- Fill gap between seal in lip and dust lip with sealant G 052 128 A1.
