Modifying transmission holder VW 353
Transmission holder VW 353 must be modified to secure the rear final drive to the repair stand.
- Mark hole (arrow 1) as shown in illustration; distances 16 mm and 5.5 mm.
- Drill a 15 mm diameter hole (arrow 1) in transmission holder.





- Drill out hole (arrow 2) to 15 mm diameter.
- Clamp rear final drive to repair stand.
