Battery Handling Instructions

NOTE:
- Battery terminals must no longer be greased.
- To avoid damaging the battery housing, do not use force when attaching the battery clamps; press them on by hand.







- The tightening torque for the battery clamps -arrow 1- is 6 Nm.
- The tightening torque for the additional terminals on the battery clamps -arrow 2- is 6 Nm.
- After reconnecting the battery, re-activate the vehicle's electrical equipment (radio, clock and convenience functions etc.) as explained in the Owner's Manual and check that it is working.
