Brake Switch (Cruise Control): Service and Repair


Cruise control or Interlock switch, removing and installing
Removing





- Remove trim/driver's side bottom
- Disconnect connector -1- from interlock switch.
- Rotate interlock switch -2- in direction of arrow 90° to the left and pull out switch.
The cruise control switch -3- is removed in the same way.

Installing
Installation is the reverse order.
- Grease plunger head of cruise control i.e. interlock switch with polycarbamide grease, part number G 052 142 A2.
- The cruise control switch must be installed in the upper mounting hole.
