Brake lines and hoses, removing and installing
Brake lines at brake master cylinder/hydraulic unit; ITT Mark 20
1. Brake line to brake master cylinder - 14 Nm
2. Brake line to hydraulic unit -14 Nm
Brake lines at brake master cylinder/hydraulic unit; ITT Mark 60
1. Tightening torque 14 Nm
2. Tightening torque 24 Nm
3. Tightening torque 8 Nm
4. Tightening torque 20 Nm
Brake lines/hoses at front wheels - Vehicles with front-wheel drive
1. Banjo bolt - 35 Nm
2. Brake line -14 Nm
3. Retaining clip
4. Brake hose

1. Banjo bolt - 35 Nm

1. Brake hose
Connections going to caliper must point inwards after installing brake hose in wheel housing (arrow).

Union nut on brake hose is applied by hand.

1. Banjo bolt - 38 Nm
Always replace brake line/hose with banjo bolt after unbolting banjo bolt.

3. Banjo bolt - 38 Nm
Always replace sealing element and banjo bolt after unbolting banjo bolt.
Brake line connection
^ Counterhold union nut -1- when tightening banjo bolt -2-.
- Tightening torque: 14 Nm
Brake hose connection with anti-twist element
^ Make sure that the groove in the ring connection of the brake hose is installed in the locating lug (arrow).
