Fig. 1 Removing and installing convertible top lock
- Trim for front roof rail removed.
- To remove, press pivot rod - 1 - off ball stud.
- Unscrew Torx bolts - 2 - and remove convertible top lock.
- To adjust convertible lid lock, loosen lock nut (arrow) at rod - 1 -, adjust ball at stud by screwing thread in or out.
- Adjust at ball stud so that gap - a - between tip of latch hook and inner edge of centering pin is 79 mm
- Tighten lock nut to secure adjustment again.
- Remove Torx bolts (arrows) and remove twist lock - 1 - with pivot rods.
