Trunk / Liftgate Lock Cylinder: Service and Repair

Lock Cylinder Housing, Removing







- Pull door handle-1-and hold.
- Unscrew bolt -3- onto stop with socket insert T 10011. This releases the lock cylinder housing.

NOTE: Unscrewing the bolt too far may result in the locking ring becoming detached from the bearing bracket and falling into the door.

- Pull lock cylinder housing -2- out of door handle bearing bracket at right
angles.
