Floor Mat, Removing And Installing
- Removing
- Front seat, left/right, removing and installing.
- Remove glove compartment.
- Remove drivers side storage compartment.
- Remove center console handles.
- Remove rear center console.
- Remove footwell vent trim.
- Remove footwell vent.
- Remove plugs - 2 - (2x).
- Remove steering column cover - 1 -.
- Remove accelerator pedal stop - 3 -.
- Remove cover for accelerator pedal stop - 4 -.
- Remove lower left and right A-pillar trim.
- Remove door sill molding.
- Remove foot support.
- Unscrew outer seat belt mount.
- Open lid for cover - 1 - at top in direction of - arrow -.
- Remove bolt.
- Tightening torque 55 Nm
- To remove cover - 1 - pull tabs - 2 - (2x) inward.
- Remove cover - 1 - from bottom out of carpet.
- For vehicles with automatic transmission, remove locking cable at gearshift lug.
- Cut cable ties - 2 - (2x) at wiring harness - 3 - for front seats.
- Guide wiring harness - 3 - down through cut-out - 1 -.
- Fully apply parking brake.
- Cut cable tie - 1 - at center console.
- Place shift or selector lever as far rearward as possible.
- Pull out floor covering beneath back panel cover.
- Remove carpet below rear panel cover.
- Pull floor mat rearward and lift over shift or selector lever.
- Fold floor mat lengthwise and remove through a door.
- Installing
- Fold new floor mat lengthwise and place in vehicle.
NOTE: Floor mat rips easily at cut-outs.
- Slide floor mat completely forward until holes for accelerator pedal stop and foot support line up.
- Press under parking brake lever.
- Remainder of installation is the reverse of removal.
