Coupling Rod (Plastic) For Stabilizer Bar, Removing and Installing


Coupling rod (plastic) for stabilizer bar, removing and installing
Removing
^ Remove wheel.





^ Unscrew attachment screws -1- from brake caliper.





^ Remove coupling rod from stabilizer bar.
1. Coupling link





^ Remove clamp -3- for stabilizer bar -2-.
1. Axle beam
4. Eccentric bolt





^ Unscrew bolt-3- for shock absorber at lower control arm.
1. Control arm
2. Parking brake cable
3. Bolt for shock absorber
A - Holding clip for parking brake cable

^ Pull wheel bearing housing downward along with lower control arm.





^ Now push a drift -1- or something similar through hole of shock absorber bushing.
^ Unscrew lower hex bolt for coupling rod.

Installing
Installation is reverse of removal.

Tightening torques:
Shock absorber to control arm 70 Nm + 90°

Always use new bolts.
Coupling rod to wheel bearing housing 55 Nm
Coupling rod to stabilizer 50 Nm
Stabilizer bar clamp to axle beam 25 Nm
Brake caliper to wheel bearing housing 70 Nm + 90°
