Upper ball joint, removing and installing
Removing
^ Remove wheel.
^ Unscrew hex bolts for control arm to axle beam.





^ Unscrew hex bolt -2- and remove control arm -1-.

Installing
Installation is the reverse of removal.
^ Bonded rubber bushings can only be turned to a limited extent The bolted connections should therefore only be tightened when the vehicle is standing on the ground.
Otherwise, the rubber bushing will be stressed and have a shortened service life.

Tightening torques:
Control arm to axle beam 95 Nm
Control arm to wheel bearing housing 70 Nm + 90°
