^ 3292/3/4 pressure piece
^ 3292 installation tool

Bonded rubber bushing in wheel bearing housing consists of two parts. Therefore, removal and installation is performed in two work sequences.
Removing
Pressing out first bonded rubber bushing
^ Slightly flange sheet metal collars of bonded rubber bushing.
^ Apply separator 3292, and tighten with spindle.
Blades of tool must be applied exactly between collar of bonded rubber bushing and wheel bearing housing.
^ Insert pin 3293/1.
^ Now, apply tool 3349 so that blades push exactly between bonded rubber bushing and wheel bearing housing.
^ Turn spindle -2- until bonded rubber bushing lifts slightly off of wheel bearing housing.
^ Now tighten bolt -1-.
^ Put on bridge 329M.
^ Turn hex bolt -1- to press out one of the two bonded rubber bushings.
Pressing out second bonded rubber bushing
^ Insert thrust piece 3349/1 and insert spindle from 3292.
^ Remove bonded rubber bushing by turning spindle.
When pulling out, make sure that blades of tool lie completely against collar of bonded rubber bushing.
Installing bonded rubber bushing Into wheel bearing housing
Installation of bonded rubber bushing occurs in one work sequence.
^ Put on both bonded rubber bushings together with tool 3292/3.
^ Pull in bonded rubber bushing by turning spindle.
