Notes on handling batteries


NOTE:
- Do not grease battery terminals.
- Put the battery terminal clamps on only by hand, without forcing them, to avoid damaging the battery casing.







- The tightening torque for the battery clamps is 6 Nm (arrow).
- The tightening torque of the additional clamps on the battery terminal clamps is 6 Nm.
- Be sure to activate vehicle features (radio, clock, electric window regulator, engine) when the battery is re-connected.
