Removing Gas-filled Strut






Removing

- Prop up and secure hood in open position.
- Lift retaining spring (arrow) slightly using small screwdriver and pull gas-filled strut -1- off ball stud.
- Detach strut at bottom ball stud.

Installing

- To install, press gas-filled strut onto ball studs so that it engages in position.
Install with tube end of strut at body of vehicle.
