Sensor For Parking Assistance (Rear), Removing and Installing

Removing







Installation location: In bumper (arrows).
- The following sensors can be removed without removing the rear bumper:
- All sensors for sedan and Avant with trailer hitch
- Inner sensors for allroad
- Remove rear bumper for removing all other sensors.







- Disconnect harness connector -1- at sensor.
- Push both lugs to side (arrows).
- Press sensor from outside toward the inside.


NOTE: To do so, a second mechanic may be required to push the sensor which has been removed from locking mechanism to the inside.


- Remove sensor toward the inside.

Installing
Installation is the reverse of removal.
