Tripod joint, assembling
- Slide CV boot onto shaft.
- Slide joint piece onto shaft.

Mount tripod connection
Chamfer on star faces toward shaft, it facilitates assembly.





- Place tripod connections on shaft according to markings and drive on fully.
To do this, a second mechanic is needed to slide the CV boot to the rear.
Use the special tool shown in illustration.
- Insert securing ring, be sure to fit properly.
- Press 80 grams of drive axle grease from repair set into triple roller joint.
- Slide joint piece over rollers and secure.
- Press 30 grams of drive axle grease from repair set into back of triple roller joint.
- Install CV boot.
Bead in CV boot must engage in joint piece groove.
- Remove drive axle from vise and clamp joint piece in.





- Insert new sealing ring -arrow- from repair kit into groove.





- Install new cover on joint piece.
Holes from cover and from joint piece must line up.
- Install clamp
