ATF lines and ATF cooler, cleaning
Special tools and workshop equipment required
- Hose, approximately 18 mm dia.
- Compressed air gun (commercially available)
- Drip tray
- Protective goggles

Note:
^ Before fitting a replacement transmission, always blow through the ATF cooler and ATF lines with compressed air (not more than 10 bar) and replace the additional ATF filter. h' the ATF that comes out is very dirty, the lines and ATF cooler must additionally be flushed out with clean ATF.
^ To install ATF lines, first insert the lines into the transmission or cooler by hand as far as they will go, then bolt on.
